Upcoming Badger Leader Calls 

October 23: No call due to UW Homecoming 

November 12, 6:30–7:30 p.m. CST: Join us for this special call to hear Business Model updates from WAA chief alumni officer and executive director Sarah Schutt and our chapter team. 

December 4, 3–4 p.m. CST: Business Model Follow Up 


Fill the Hill

Check out the 2024 Toolkit to make the most of this fundraising opportunity for your chapter’s scholarship fund.  
 
Reminders:   

  • Chapters must have a centralized scholarship program through WFAA.    
  • Those participating are eligible for a $3,000 match through the Pellegrin Fund. 
  • Chapters must raise $1,000 or solicit five donors to participate in Fill the Hill 2025.

Volunteer Trainings

We are hosting volunteer trainings to better understand the US Alumni Chapter program; your role as a Badger Leader; and how to access the resources available to you. Please sign up for a single one-hour session and encourage fellow board members to attend. This is required for all new volunteers. 


Homecoming


Game Watches

  • All local badger hangout pages transitioned to the centralized landing page
  • Game Watch emails sent out to local alumni from participating chapter regions on Wed before game
  • Opting in/out of emails by notifying your chapter rep by noon on the Monday before the game.
  • Post event specifics such as parking, drink/food specials, etc. on social media

Founders' Day

  • Hosting an event is optional. 
  • UW faculty speaker requests are reserved for Bascom, Varsity, and Wisconsin chapters. 
  • UW faculty speaker request form deadline is November 15. 
  • Events featuring a UW faculty speaker must occur between February 5–May 31. 
  • Non faculty speaker events can happen any time of year. 
  • Get creative, “Cake and Kegs!”
